Fowey

This historic town at the mouth of the River Fowey was Daphne du Maurier’s hometown. Fowey attracts fans of du Maurier’s novels and it also makes a good base for visiting nearby attractions like the Eden Project and Restormel Castle.

Coming & going

First runs buses 24 and 25 between Fowey and St Austell where you can make bus and rail connections to Bristol, London, Plymouth and destinations throughout Cornwall.

If you’re making a day trip to the Eden Project you need to take the bus to St Austell first, before changing to bus 101 to the Eden Project.

There is a one-day pass that gives you unlimited travel on First buses in Cornwall for £13 (£12 if you buy your ticket using the First mTickets app).
