The Aparthotel Adagio Liverpool City Centre is a new apartment hotel that is located inside the Lewis’s building, which was home to the now-defunct Lewis’s department store until 2010.
The 125-room hotel is comprised of studio and one-bedroom apartments that all include comfortable beds, a work desk, a flat-screen television, ironing facilities including a trouser press, a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, electric hob, cooking utensils and tea and coffee making facilities including a Nespresso coffee machine plus an en suite bathroom.
The rooms are well designed to make maximum use of the space and they include quite a bit of storage space and they also feature pull-down beds that fold up to reveal a small sofa. Larger apartments have a separate lounge area with a sofa bed.
The conversion from a department store into a hotel is fairly recent and everything here is new and well maintained.
The hotel also includes a couple of meeting rooms, self-serve laundry machines and a fitness centre.
There is a relatively large breakfast area where breakfast is available for an additional charge, however, this is not really necessary as the hotel is right in the middle of the city with plenty of places to eat out and the self-catering facilities inside the apartments mean that you can buy supplies from one of the nearby supermarkets and prepare your own meals in your room.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Although the hotel entrance on Fairclough Street is not the most welcoming, the hotel has a very central location and there are loads of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs within a short walk of the hotel.
Most points of interest in the city centre are not much more than a 10-minute walk away although it is around a 15-minute walk to Albert Dock and the Liverpool waterfront.
The hotel is right next to Liverpool Central station (the entrance is located directly across the road from the hotel) and it is just a five-minute walk to Liverpool Lime Street railway station.
