The Bath Arms Hotel is a large pub in Cheddar’s village centre, which has accommodation in rooms upstairs. It is both the top place to stay and the top place to eat in Cheddar.
All rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, a work desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom.
With only six guest rooms, the accommodation is a small part of the business; however, it is certainly not neglected and the accommodation is of a high standard.
The gastropub downstairs is the main focus of the Bath Arms and, with two AA rosettes, the standard of food is considerably better than you would expect from a village pub. Food, and drink, here are a bit more expensive than at other pubs but it is generally worth the extra money.
The hotel is located in the historic centre of the village, which is a much nicer location than the touristy area near the gorge and most tourist attractions are a 10–15-minute walk from here.Free parking is available in the car park behind the hotel.
