The George Hotel is a 17th-century inn with a central location right in the heart of Frome.
The hotel dates from 1650 and features a popular pub with accommodation upstairs.
The accommodation is better than you would expect for rooms above a pub and the 19 guest rooms all have comfortable beds, a flatscreen TV, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. One of the rooms has a four-poster bed.
All the rooms are upstairs and there is no lift, so it is probably not the best option if you have mobility issues.
The George Hotel is operated by a brewery so the pub downstairs is a central focus with a good selection of beer, a menu with burgers and pub classics and a great atmosphere.

Limited car parking is available in the small underground car park that is accessible from the rear of the hotel.
