Rooms are functional and modern, with neutral decor and standard amenities including a flatscreen TV, a work desk and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Bathrooms have walk-in showers. There are several wheelchair-accessible rooms designed with wider doorways and adapted bathrooms. The accommodation is generally well maintained, though some guests may find the decor slightly plain.

Public facilities include a bar and a breakfast area. The bar offers a small selection of drinks and light snacks in a casual setting. A buffet breakfast is included in your room rate and features hot and cold options such as scrambled eggs, sausages, pastries and fruit.

Sheffield railway station is around a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The nearest tram stop, Fitzalan Square/Ponds Forge, is a five-minute walk away and provides connections across the city.

From here, most points of interest in the city centre are between a 10- and a 20-minute walk away with the Peace Gardens, Graves Art Gallery, Millennium Gallery, the National Emergency Services Museum, Sheffield Cathedral and the Winter Garden all around a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

Car parking is available for £6 per night, which is pretty good considering the hotel’s close proximity to the city centre.
