Moxy Bristol is a modern hotel with a youthful vibe and a convenient location not far from Cabot Circus.
Moxy is a Marriott hotel brand that is aimed at the millennial market and it is priced at the budget end of the market just above ibis budget, ibis, Travelodge and Premier Inn. It appears that Moxy is chasing the same design-focused millennial market as Marriott’s high-end W Hotels brand but Moxy’s big advantage is that millennials can actually afford to stay here.
The hotel has 218 rooms, which are well designed with comfortable beds, a flatscreen TV and an en suite bathroom. Rooms also have a small fold-down work desk; however, it’s a lot smaller than desks that you find in most other hotels.

Like other Moxy hotels, the ground floor space, which includes the bar/reception area, features a funky interior design and it has louder music than your typical hotel lobby. In many ways, the atmosphere is like a very nice hostel with vibrant communal spaces that comprise a large part of the guest experience. These communal spaces are very well done and I like the idea of creating a hostel-style atmosphere in a hotel but some people complain that the whole vibe of the place makes them feel old and out of place.

Shared facilities also include a fitness centre, a laundry and an ironing room.

Moxy Bristol is on the northwestern fringe of the city centre, just a three-minute walk from Cabot Circus shopping centre. Most other points of interest in the city centre are between a five- and a 25-minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel is a 20-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads railway station, a 15-minute walk from the coach station and around a five-minute walk from the Megabus coach pick up/drop off point.
