Native Manchester

The Grade II listed former cotton warehouse comprises 166 self-contained apartments. The apartments range from entry-level studios to massive two-bedroom penthouse apartments. Studio apartments feature a comfortable bed, a sofa, a flatscreen television, a work desk, a fully-equipped kitchen with a fridge, an oven and cooking hob, a microwave and dishwasher plus ironing facilities and an en suite bathroom. One- and two-bedroom apartments not only offer more space but also have a washing machine and dryer, which makes one of the larger apartments an ideal place to stay if you’ve been on the road long enough to have accumulated a load of dirty laundry. Eight of the apartments are adapted for guests with disabilities.

Unlike many apartment hotels, Native Manchester has extensive public areas including Dulcie Street Warehouse, a social hub on the ground floor that includes a cinema, a fitness centre, a co-working space and several places to eat and drink. This big ground floor space gives Native Manchester way more atmosphere than your average apartment hotel and it makes it a top place choice if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Manchester.

There is a strong emphasis on design throughout the complex with exposed brick walls and decor that emphasises the building’s Industrial Revolution heritage.

Native Manchester is only a three-minute walk to Manchester Piccadilly railway station (but not as close as Staycity) making it ideal if you’re travelling by train. It is also within walking distance to most sights in the city centre with many areas, including the Arndale Centre and the Northern Quarter, no more than a 10-minute walk away.

Car parking is available for £15 per 24 hours, although it can be much cheaper if you prebook your car parking space before you arrive.
