The Old Borough Arms is a small hotel with just nine guest rooms. The building dates from 1720 and it is located in the historic part of the town centre at the foot of Mermaid Street.
All nine of the rooms at the Old Borough Arms have comfortable beds, flat-screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms.
The Tilling Suite is the largest, and most expensive, of the rooms at the hotel. This suite is comprised of three bedrooms and a separate lounge room and can sleep up to six people. It is on the top floor which means that guests staying here have a lovely view but it also makes it inaccessible to anyone who is unable to climb stairs.
The accommodation at the Old Borough Arms is clean, well maintained and generally of a high standard.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.
There is a small cafe on-site, the Mermaid Street Cafe, which serves coffee, ice cream, lunch and afternoon tea.
The Old Borough Arms is located at the western edge of Rye’s town centre at the end of Mermaid Street. This area is popular with tourists and daytrippers from Ashford, Folkstone and Hastings and the hotel is around a five-minute walk from the railway station.Check prices and availability for the Old Borough Arms
