The Pen & Parchment is a small pub that offers accommodation in 10 rooms. It is a nice place to stay with plenty of character and a very central location.
It is a relatively small accommodation option with only 10 guest rooms. The rooms are nicer than you would expect and have comfortable beds, a writing desk, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms.
The pub is the main focus of the business and it is worth popping in for a pint even if you’re staying here. It has plenty of character, a good selection of beer on tap, a kitchen serving traditional pub favourites and a nice outdoor terrace that is a lovely spot to sit on a sunny day.
This is an ideal place to stay if you prefer to avoid the large chain hotels in favour of somewhere with a little more character. It is a Grade II-listed building dating the 17th century and the wisteria on the front of the building is 150 years old. It has uneven floors and narrow staircases as you would expect from an old building and as there is no lift, it is not really ideal if you have limited mobility.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the property.
The Pen & Parchment is in Bridge Foot right next to the tourist information centre and it is just a few minutes walk to the bus and coach station. From here you can walk to most points of interest in Stratford-upon-Avon within 10 minutes or so.Check prices and availability for Pen & Parchment
