Premier Inn London Romford Town Centre is a modern budget hotel near Romford’s Market Place. It offers clean, functional accommodation aimed at both business and leisure travellers, with on-site dining and easy access to Romford’s shops, restaurants and transport connections into central London.

Rooms at the Premier Inn London Romford Town Centre feature a double- or king-size bed and a comfortable chair, a writing desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. The bathroom has a bathtub with a showerhead above it rather than a proper walk-in shower.

In addition to standard rooms, the hotel also has Premier Plus rooms, which are a step above a standard room. These rooms feature faster Wi-Fi, a better workspace, a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee machine and in-room ironing facilities.

All rooms have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access (up to 1GB per day).

The hotel also features a Thyme Bar & Grill restaurant with a menu of casual dining options such as burgers, curries, steaks and pub-style favourites such as pies and fish and chips. The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner.

The Premier Inn is in Romford town centre, facing the historic Market Place, which has been the heart of the town since the 13th century. The area is commercial and lively during the day, with the large open-air market operating on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Liberty Shopping Centre is less than a two-minute walk away, offering a wide range of high-street retailers and cafés. Despite the busy surroundings, the hotel itself remains relatively quiet at night once the shops close.

The neighbourhood has a mixed urban character, with pedestrianised streets lined with shops, restaurants and pubs. The wider borough of Havering is a suburban part of East London, with good connections to central London and nearby Essex. The location suits guests looking for affordable accommodation within easy reach of the capital but outside the congestion and higher costs of central London.

The hotel is about an eight-minute walk from Romford railway station, which is served by the Elizabeth line services to London Liverpool Street, Stratford, Paddington and Heathrow Airport. Trains to central London run roughly every 10 minutes with a journey of around 25 minutes to Liverpool Street. Romford is also the terminus for London Overground services to Upminster.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and it usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
