Rooms at the Premier Inn Maidstone (Sandling) are a mix of double, twin and family rooms. Rooms feature a king-size Hypnos bed and a comfortable chair, a writing desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. Some wheelchair-accessible rooms are also available.

The hotel also features a Beefeater restaurant, which has a meat-centred menu with a focus on beef. The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner.

Like other hotels in the Premier Inn chain, this hotel is clean and well maintained offering a great value accommodation option but it is somewhat lacking in character.

The hotel has an idyllic location overlooking the River Medway and it is right across the road from Kent Life; however, it is a long way from the town centre, which is either a 20-minute walk to a bus stop where you can catch the 101 Sapphire bus into the town centre or a pleasant 40-minute walk along the River Medway. However, the location on the edge of town is less of an issue if you’re driving and free parking is also available at the hotel.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and it usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
