Premier Inn Rugby North (M6 Jct 1) is a budget hotel on the northern outskirts of Rugby close to junction 1 of the M6 motorway. It is a good value accommodation option for motorists but travellers using public transport should choose somewhere more centrally-located.
Rooms at the Premier Inn Rugby North (M6 Jct 1) are a mix of double, twin and family rooms. Rooms feature a king-size Hypnos bed and a comfortable chair, a writing desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. All rooms have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access (up to 1GB per day).
Some wheelchair-accessible rooms are also available.
The hotel also has a Brewers Fayre restaurant, which is a pub-style restaurant serving burgers and traditional pub favourites. The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner.
Like other hotels in the Premier Inn chain, this hotel is clean and well maintained offering a great value accommodation option but it is somewhat lacking in character.
The hotel is 5km (3 miles) north of the town centre, which is only a seven-minute drive (or a 50-minute walk) from the hotel. There is a bus stop nearby served by routes 1 and 2, which will take you into the town centre in around 25 minutes.
The hotel’s immediate vicinity is not particularly inspiring although there is a small shopping area next to the hotel with an Aldi supermarket and a couple of other shops.
Free parking and easy access to the M1 motorway makes this a great option if you’re driving but there are other affordable places to stay closer to the town centre.
