Rooms at the Premier Inn Thurrock East are a mix of double, twin and family rooms. Rooms feature a king-size Hypnos bed and a comfortable chair, a writing desk, a flat-screen television, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom. Some wheelchair-accessible rooms are also available.

Like other hotels in the Premier Inn chain, this hotel is clean and well-maintained offering a great value accommodation option but it is somewhat lacking in character.

The hotel is around a 15-minute walk from Lakeside shopping centre in Thurrock on the eastern outskirts of London’s suburban area. With 250 shops, Lakeside is one of the largest shopping centres in the United Kingdom.

It’s a fairly quiet suburban area with not a lot of interest other than the shopping centre. The location on the edge of London means that some people travelling by car may choose to stay here and take a train into central London. The hotel is around a 10-minute walk to Chafford Hundred Lakeside railway station and trains into London Fenchurch Street depart every half hour with a journey time of around 35 minutes.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and it usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
