The Pullman Liverpool is a modern four-star hotel near the cluster of exhibition and conference centres just south of Albert Dock. The hotel offers a high standard of accommodation and it is a popular option with business travellers.
The second Pullman hotel in the United Kingdom is a modern eight-storey building with 216 air-conditioned guest rooms, each with comfortable beds, a work desk, a safe, a flat-screen television, a small fridge with a couple of bottles of water, ironing facilities, a bathrobe and slippers, tea and coffee making facilities including a Nespresso coffee machine and an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The deluxe rooms are larger and have Nespresso coffee machines and a Bose docking station and premium deluxe rooms also include a free minibar.
Guests staying in the hotel’s suite and the executive rooms (as well as platinum members of the ALL loyalty programme) have access to an executive lounge where complimentary drinks and snacks are served in the evening.
There is a nice sitting area near the hotel reception as well as a spot with a couple of Apple iMacs that guests can use.
Marco Pierre White’s Wheelers of St James’s Oyster Bar and Grill is located on the ground floor not far from the reception area. The restaurant is excellent if you like meat or seafood although it is a bit expensive, which is to be expected for a celebrity chef-operated restaurant in a high-end hotel.
Guests also have free access to the hotel’s fitness centre.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.
It is right next door to the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, the ACC Liverpool convention centre and M&S Bank Arena. The location is perfect if you’re visiting Liverpool to attend an event at one of these venues and this also means that it is a popular option with business travellers, however, the hotel’s pricing fluctuates depending on the convention and exhibition schedule and it can be a surprisingly affordable place to stay if you’re lucky to book on a night where there are no big events scheduled.
Although the immediate area is nice enough, it is not as well located as most other Liverpool hotels. Despite this, there is still plenty of attractions that you can walk to with most points of interest in the Albert Dock area within a five–10-minute walk. It is a 15-minute walk to the Liverpool waterfront and most points of interest within the city centre are a 10–20-minute walk from the hotel.
