The Savera Hotel South Ruislip is a modern 78-room hotel in South Ruislip in London’s western suburbs. Although the hotel is a long way from central London, it is located right next to a station with direct train services to London Marylebone station as well as tube services on the Central line.
The hotel rooms are spacious and include comfortable beds, a work desk, a flat screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms.
There is a bar and restaurant on site that has both an Indian and Italian menu as well as pub-style meals. There are plenty of other places to eat and drink nearby so don’t feel that you have to dine at your hotel.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.
Even though the hotel was only built in 2003, it has a very dated appearance which is common with many American hotel chains that seem to give a very low priority to interior design.
The hotel is in South Ruislip in the western suburbs near RAF Northolt. Although it is not the most charming neighbourhood, there is a good choice of places to eat and drink nearby including a pub next door with outdoor seating (the Middlesex Arms). The suburban location means that this hotel is much cheaper than more centrally-located hotels of a similar standard and unlike many other suburban hotels, the Ramada London South Ruislip is right next to a tube and railway station so it is very easy to get into Central London.
South Ruislip station (in zone 5) has direct trains to London Marylebone station and it is also on the Central line of the London Underground. The tube takes around half an hour to Oxford Circus and runs every 8–10 minutes and the trains to Marylebone take 23 minutes but only run once per hour.
