Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway

From £15 To £28

The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is a historic narrow-gauge railway that offers visitors a unique excursion while travelling through the picturesque south of Kent.

The history of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway traces back to the 1920s when Captain John Edwards Presgrave (Jack) Howey, a wealthy entrepreneur, had a vision to create a miniature steam railway that would transport visitors through the picturesque Romney Marsh. With the help of engineer Henry Greenly, this dream became a reality, and in 1927, the railway was officially opened.
