The Rugby Hotel is a reasonably-priced independent hotel in an 18th-century building in Rugby’s town centre.
It is a small hotel with only 36 guest rooms. All rooms have comfortable beds, a flatscreen television, a work desk, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms.
A fresh coat of paint means that the hotel looks relatively nice from the street; however, many of the rooms look dated and feel a little tired.
The hotel bar (Horseshoes) is one of Rugby’s oldest local pubs and it offers good value food and drink with a proper pub atmosphere as opposed to your regular sterile hotel bar.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

It’s not a bad place if you prefer to stay somewhere with a little character (and if you don’t have high expectations) but you can get a lot more for the same price if you venture outside the town centre.
