What to see at This Museum Is (Not) Obsolete
Unlike traditional museums, This Museum Is (Not) Obsolete challenges the idea of obsolescence, showcasing modern interpretations of aged technology. Through a fusion of art, sound and interactive displays, the museum invites you to rethink the value of outdated devices. As you explore this dynamic intersection of creativity and technology, you’ll gain a fresh perspective on how the past continues to inspire the future.
Visiting This Museum Is (Not) Obsolete
This Museum Is (Not) Obsolete is next door to The Micro Museum, which has a similar theme relating to early technology and many people visit both museums. It is on the northern edge of Ramsgate’s town centre and most points of interest in Ramsgate are no more than a 5–10-minute walk from here.
The museum is open on weekends from April until late September and the entry charge is £6 per person.
