Travelodge London Bromley

All rooms at the Travelodge London Bromley hotel have comfortable king-size beds, a television, a work desk, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a shower.

Unlike most other hotels, only your first 30 minutes of Wi-Fi wireless internet is free. If you need more internet you have to pay £3.50 for 24 hours.

Although this is a budget hotel, prices can fluctuate depending on demand and it can be more expensive staying here during peak periods, although in most cases this hotel is a cheaper alternative to more centrally-located hotels.

The hotel is in a relatively quiet location in Bromley, a major suburban centre around 15km (9½ miles) southeast of Central London. It is around a five-minute walk north of Bromley town centre, and it is around a 10-minute walk from Bromley North railway station.

Bromley North is the less convenient of Bromley’s two stations. It is served by a branch line that operates a shuttle service to Grove Park, where you have to change trains for services into Central London, as opposed to Bromley South, which has more frequent trains running direct services into Central London.

The other Travelodge in Bromley is a much better option as it has a more central location in the town centre, not too far from Bromley South railway station and it is nicer too, as it has been renovated with Travelodge’s new room design.

Travelodges in Great Britain, Ireland and Spain are a separate business to the Travelodge hotels that operate in Canada and the USA (which are run by Wyndham) and the Travelodge hotel chain in Australia and New Zealand (which is part of TFE Hotels). Although all Travelodge hotels worldwide serve the same ‘quality budget’ end of the market, if you’re used to Travelodge hotels in Australia, New Zealand or North America their hotels in the UK may be a little different to what you are used to.
