Although this is a budget hotel, prices can fluctuate depending on demand and it can be more expensive staying here during peak periods although in most cases this hotel is a cheaper alternative to more centrally-located hotels.

This Travelodge is in Lytham St Annes, around 8km (5 miles) south of Blackpool town centre. Although it’s a fair distance from the centre of Blackpool, a lot of people find that the immediate vicinity around this hotel is much nicer than central Blackpool. Lytham St Annes certainly feels more upmarket than Blackpool and actually has nice architecture, tree-lined streets and a nice pier and, most importantly, you get a little respite from Blackpool’s gaudy tourist attractions.

There are some nice local shops nearby and regular direct bus links into the centre of Blackpool. The hotel is also just a five-minute walk from St Annes-on-the-Sea railway station, which has trains to Blackpool South and Preston.
