The Weald and Downland Living Museum (formerly known as the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum) in Singleton, 11km north of Chichester, has over 40 historic buildings that date from medieval to Victorian times.

Highlights of the museum include a Tudor farmhouse and a working 17th-century water-wheel.
