Broadstairs

This bustling small town is one of England’s oldest seaside resorts and it has much more charm than neighbouring Margate and Ramsgate.

Broadstairs’ most famous resident was Charles Dickens, who spent his summers here at Bleak House (now a museum) and the town has several Dickens-related attractions and it hosts an annual Dickens festival each June.
