The hotel’s 50 guest rooms all have comfortable beds, a work desk, a flat-screen television, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. There are 15 rooms in the main building, which dates from 1751, and another 35 rooms in the courtyard wing. As you would expect, the rooms in the main building have more character while the rooms in the newer part of the hotel are more modern.

It is a pet-friendly hotel and your dog can stay at no additional cost. However, pets cannot be left unattended in your room.

The hotel also has a bar and restaurant with a pub-style modern British menu and afternoon tea is served 2.30pm–5.30pm daily. The bar is accessible to guests 24 hours and there is also a limited selection from the menu available throughout the night.

The hotel also has a lovely walled courtyard garden and a leisure club that includes a fitness centre and a heated indoor swimming pool.

It is a 10-minute walk to the railway station and it just around the corner from the bus station, which is handy if you need to take a bus to Castle Combe or Lacock.
