Duck & Swagger, the hotel’s bar, is a hip spot for a drink or a bite to eat and the hotel’s location means that there are many other places to eat or drink nearby.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.
The hotel is located in the Baltic Triangle, a cool neighbourhood south of the city centre that is within easy walking distance to the Albert Dock area. The area has a hipster vibe and like Shoreditch in London, it is home to an increasing number of creative and digital businesses. The Baltic Triangle is a little more authentic and not quite as gentrified as the Ropewalks neighbourhood, a little farther north.
It is an interesting neighbourhood and there is a great choice of places to eat and drink in the immediate vicinity around the hotel. From here it is around an eight-minute walk to the southern edge of the city centre, an eight-minute walk to the edge of Ropewalks and a 10–15-minute walk to the Albert Dock area.
The Liverpool One bus station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel and it is a 20-minute walk to Lime Street railway station. Bus route 500 from the airport stops on Wapping, just a six-minute walk from the hotel.
