The hotel’s 92 guest rooms are all air conditioned and have comfortable beds, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms.

Some wheelchair-accessible rooms are also available.

The cheapest rooms don’t have windows and the smallest rooms start at only 10m² (107 sq ft); however, they are well designed and are perfectly adequate if you don’t need to spend much time in your room and you’re just looking for somewhere clean and central to crash for the night.

Despite having small rooms with limited facilities, the hotel is nicely designed so it feels more upmarket than you would expect for the price.

The hotel is strictly a place to sleep and it doesn’t offer a lot in its common areas so there isn’t a big lobby area with a restaurant and spacious lounge bar. However, if you want the feel of a fancy hotel without the price tag, you can stay here and hang out in the lobby of the Aloft hotel across the street.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotel is located in State House, a former office building built in the early 1960s that has a great central location right in the heart of Liverpool city centre with plenty of attractions within easy walking distance. The Cavern Club, the Liverpool Beatles Museum and the Western Approaches Museum are all less than a five-minute walk away and the British Music Experience, the Royal Liver Building, the Museum of Liverpool, the Liverpool Central Library, the Walker Art Gallery and the World Museum are all within a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

The closest railway station is Moorfields, which is only a three-minute walk from the hotel and both Liverpool Lime Street railway station and Liverpool One bus station are a 10-minute walk away.
