Excellent staff and spotless facilities
Our first journey since lockdown. On holiday in Berwick-upon-Tweed, but the English weather forced us to take a day at the Metro Centre Gateshead. The station staff at Berwick were really helpful in sorting out tickets and on the day of travel, staff were on hand to meet and greet us, directing us in the right direction. We used the facilities while we were meeting for our train, spotless. The station staff were brilliant, they did British rail proud..!!
