Bristol Temple Meads railway station is the principal railway station in Bristol. It is a major station with 13 platforms, a bar, newsagent and several cafes. The station is located around a 15-minute walk southeast of the city centre.
Bristol Temple Meads is the western terminus of both the Great Western Main Line and the Wessex Main Line. From Bristol Temple Meads, there are fives trains per hour to Bath Spa; two trains per hour to Birmingham New Street, Cardiff Central and London Paddington and hourly trains to Exeter St Davids, Gloucester, Manchester Piccadilly, Portsmouth Harbour, Salisbury, Southampton Central and Weymouth.
