Canterbury Bell

Unlike many other pubs with rooms, the accommodation at the Canterbury Bell is in a separate annexe across the road, rather than upstairs, from the pub.

All rooms have comfortable beds, a flatscreen television, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. It is a relatively new hotel and the accommodation is of a high standard.

The pub across the road is a nice spot for a drink and a bite to eat and it also has an outdoor terrace, which is lovely on a sunny day.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Although the suburban location is not the most charming, the immediate vicinity around the hotel offers a lot of options for shopping as well as a multiplex cinema complex and plenty of affordable dining options.

This location is best if you’re driving and want to base yourself within easy reach of all the main towns on the Isle of Thanet but it also works well if you’re travelling by public transport as the Loop bus stops at Westwood Cross shopping centre, just a two-minute walk away, and runs every 10 minutes with connections to Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate.
