The Castle Inn is a pub north of Bradford on Avon’s town centre that offers accommodation in four double rooms. It has been a pub since 1834 and before this, it was a toll house.
The accommodation is in four double rooms above the pub. Each room has a comfortable bed, a work desk, a flatscreen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a monsoon shower.
Like many pubs that offer accommodation, the decor is of a traditional style similar to the decor inside the pub. The interior decor varies from room to room and some rooms are nicer than others.
Most rooms have lovely views of the town and you can even see the White Horse of Westbury from some of the rooms.
The pub downstairs is a cosy place for a drink and it is particularly noted for its excellent food, which is a step above your average pub grub.
The Castle Inn is around a 10-minute walk north of the town centre and around a 15-minute walk to the railway station. It is in a quiet area across the road from a church and next to the roundabout where Bath Road, Masons Lane and Mount Pleasant intersect.Free parking is available, making the Castle Inn a great accommodation option if you’re driving.
