Cherry Orchard Farm

It is a small place with only two guest rooms, the Willow Suite and the Sunset Suite. The Willow Suite has exposed beams and a roll-top bath next to the window inside the bedroom. This room also has a separate en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The newer Sunset Suite also has a roll-top bath and features french doors leading out onto your own personal balcony.

There are lovely views of the countryside from both rooms where you can see horses grazing in the paddocks. Both rooms are furnished in a traditional country style and feature comfortable beds, a flatscreen television, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities plus en suite bathrooms with toiletries, slippers and dressing gowns.

It is a rather expensive place to stay but it is a step above your average B&B and it’s a lovely place for a romantic weekend away.

Breakfast for two people is included in your room rate and free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the house.

It is around a 15-minute walk to a bus stop where you can catch bus route 96 to Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge. However, the bus meanders along a convoluted route taking 40 minutes to get to Bradford on Avon and this bus route is not particularly frequent either. Although it is possible to get here by public transport, its rural location means that it is best suited if you’re driving.
