Despite being located in a part of Chiswick that is characterised by car dealerships and office blocks, it is quite a nice part of London and there are a couple of nice pubs just a short walk away. It is around a 20-minute walk to Kew Gardens and the Musical Museum and the London Museum of Water and Steam are a little closer.

The hotel has relatively good transport connections to the centre of London with buses 237, 267, 391, 440, H91 and N9 stopping outside the hotel. Gunnersbury station (on the District line plus trains on Overground network) is a five-minute walk from the hotel and Kew Bridge railway station (with trains to London Waterloo) and Chiswick Park tube station (on the District line) are both a 10–12-minute walk away. From Gunnersbury, it is a half-hour ride to Westminster and it takes 22 minutes to get to the South Kensington museums (with trains running every 10 minutes). All three stations are in zone three.
