Crowne Plaza London Ealing

The Crowne Plaza London Ealing hotel is a large hotel near a major road junction in West London. Its location outside the city centre means that it is cheaper than many other hotels of a similar standard and its location next to a tube station means that it is easy to get into Central London.

The hotel has 139 spacious guest rooms. All rooms have comfortable beds, a work desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. The more expensive club rooms have access to the Club Floor Lounge, which has complimentary drinks and snacks. Three of the rooms are wheelchair accessible, however, the nearby tube station does not currently have step-free access so it is probably not the best place to stay if you use a wheelchair or have other mobility issues that make it difficult to climb stairs.

The hotel’s West 5 Brasserie & Bar has an international menu take covers everything from traditional British fare to steaks, pasta and tandoori chicken. The West 5 Bar is a more casual setting to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. The hotel boasts, ‘we’re proud to serve Starbucks Coffee’, which indicates that they probably don’t have particularly high standards when it comes to food and drink. Fortunately, there are several other places to eat and drink nearby including Lebanese and Iranian restaurants as well as a pizza place.

Parts of the hotel can look a little dated and the location overlooking a busy road is not the most pleasant either.

Although there is not a lot of interest in the immediate neighbourhood, the hotel is right across the road from Hanger Lane tube station. Hanger Lane is on the Central line (in zone three) and from here it takes 22 minutes to get Oxford Circus.

On-site car parking is available but it costs £15 per day.
