Guest rooms are all 20m² (215 sq ft) with the exception of the 53m² (570 sq ft) one-bedroom suites that feature separate living and sleeping areas.

The hotel has several dining options including the Cast Iron Grill, the Zest Bar and the Mezz Bar plus an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy a drink and a light meal.

The hotel is located on extensive grounds around midway between Maidstone and Leeds Castle. Although quite close to Maidstone, the hotel is surrounded by countryside and there is nothing of interest within the immediate vicinity of the hotel complex, which means that you’re restricted to dining in the hotel’s own restaurants and bars or driving into the town centre for a night out.

It is 5km (3 miles) east of Maidstone’s town centre, which is either a 10-minute drive or bus ride. In the other direction, the hotel is 4km (2½ miles) from Leeds Castle, which is a six-minute drive or a three-minute bus ride followed by a 15-minute walk.

Bus routes 10X and 13A stop on Ashford Road outside the hotel, running to both Maidstone’s town centre and to Leeds Castle.

The location outside town, plus the ample free car parking, makes this hotel best suited if you’re driving.

Delta is a Canadian-based hotel chain that was bought by Marriott in 2015. Although Delta hotels are located primarily in Canada and the northern United States, during 2022 Marriott re-branded around 25 of its UK hotels, including this one, into Delta by Marriott hotels. These hotels generally represent the UK’s older Marriott hotels and they are located in primarily regional locations. These hotels were starting to look a little dated; however, Marriott has confirmed that these re-branded hotels are going through a renovation programme, which means that they are now nicer than when they were Marriott-branded properties.
