East Hill Cliff Railway

Price £3.50

The East Hill Cliff Railway, which is also known as the East Hill lift, dates from 1903 and is the United Kingdom’s steepest funicular railway. It provides access to Hastings Country Park via East Hill and offers spectacular views of the old town.

The East Hill lift operates between 10am and 5.30pm daily and a return ride costs £3.50. This funicular is wheelchair accessible but Hastings’ other funicular (the West Hill lift) is not.
