The Eastbourne Heritage Centre is a small museum with exhibits of local history. It makes a great introduction for anyone visiting Eastbourne for the first time.
What to see at the Eastbourne Heritage Centre
The Eastbourne Heritage Centre has three floors of exhibits about the local history of Eastbourne and the surrounding area.
It shows how the town developed and the influence of the railway and there is an exhibition showing the development of Eastbourne as a Victorian seaside resort. There is also an exhibit about the current development plans for the Devonshire Quarter.
There is a small cinema on the lower ground floor which shows films about Eastbourne.
