Gordons Hotel

The hotel has 13 guest rooms that all have comfortable beds, a work desk, a flatscreen television, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathroom facilities.

Public areas include a small lounge and a breakfast area as well as an outdoor area with a swimming pool.

While the decor may not appeal to everyone, the place has plenty of character and it appeals to travellers who like to avoid larger chain hotels.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Gordons is within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions but far enough away to have a lovely village setting. However, the location is spoilt somewhat by the car parking area directly across the road. From here, the main tourist attractions are within a 5–10-minute walk from the hotel and it is around a five-minute walk in the other direction to the historic centre of the village.

Free parking is available in the hotel’s own car park and if that is full you can park in the large Cliff Street car park across the street.
