Gran Canaria Hotel

At only 10m2 (108 sq ft), the hotel rooms are compact with basic amenities that include a bed, a television (don’t expect it to work) and an en suite bathroom. The furnishings aren’t particularly well maintained and the decor feels tired and dated.

Other facilities in the hotel include a guest lounge and a restaurant, although you are better off eating elsewhere in town.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Although it may seem cheap for the location, it is overpriced for what you get.

On a positive note, the hotel does have a very good location on Marine Parade with most rooms offering lovely views of the English Channel. It is right across the road from the beach and most points of interest in the town centre are no more than a 5–10-minute walk from here.

Folkestone Central railway station is a 20-minute walk from the hotel.
