The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum has exhibits on Coventry’s history with displays of art, archaeology, natural history and its industrial heritage.

The museum’s exhibits of local history are a good introduction to Coventry chronicling the city’s history with a focus on the medieval period, the Victorian era and the period after the Second World War. The Discover Godiva gallery focuses on Coventry’s most famous historical figure.

The museum also has exhibits on natural history and a major part of the museum is dedicated to art with a collection that includes old masters, sculpture and 20th-century art.
