The hotel’s 144 guest rooms are all air conditioned with comfortable beds, a flatscreen TV, a work desk, ironing facilities, a small fridge, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a nice big shower head. Most rooms also have sofas. Rooms range from 14m² (150 sq ft) to 19m² (204 sq ft) and have big floor-to-ceiling windows that provide lots of natural light.

Marco’s New York Italian is the hotel’s restaurant, with a menu designed by celebrity chef, Marco Pierre White. Don’t expect to see Marco in the kitchen, though, as he has eight different restaurant brands that are mostly operated by franchisees. The decor here is a giant step up from most other restaurants in Blackpool and, with fewer photos of Marco on the wall, it even looks a little classier than many of Marco’s other restaurants.

The hotel also has a bar, Platform 9, in the lobby area as well as a branch of Starbucks.

Business facilities include three meeting rooms and an area in the hotel lobby where you can sit with your computer and get some work done.

Other guest facilities include a fitness centre on the lower-ground floor.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

This is a relatively new hotel, opened only in May 2024, so everything is new and in perfect condition.

The hotel is part of the Talbot Gateway area, a modern development of offices and retail that is intended to revitalise this part of Blackpool. It’s very close to Blackpool North railway station with direct access to the North Station tram stop from the lower-ground floor.

The location is very convenient with the railway station just a two-minute walk from the hotel and you can walk to the Grundy Art Gallery, North Pier and the Winter Gardens in under 10 minutes.
