Blackpool North is Blackpool’s major station with more frequent train services and a more direct line to the mainline at Preston than Blackpool South railway station. For most travellers, Blackpool North is the more centrally located of Blackpool’s two railway stations.
Blackpool North train station has hourly trains to Liverpool Lime Street, Preston and York (via Leeds) and two trains per hour to Manchester. There are also less frequent trains – four per day – to London Euston station. If you are travelling to other destinations, it is usually best to change trains in Preston.
