Holiday Inn London Wembley

Like many other hotels near Wembley Stadium, the Holiday Inn can offer very good value for money if you stay here when there are no scheduled events at Wembley but it can be very expensive when there is a big event on.

It is a large modern hotel with 336 guest rooms. All rooms have comfortable beds, a work desk, a flat-screen television with premium channels, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. The hotel also has suites, which are larger with a separate living area and a few little extras such as a minibar, bathrobe and slippers.

The Arch Restaurant and Bar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant has a casual dining menu with burgers, pasta, pizza, steak and pub favourites.

The hotel has excellent leisure facilities with two gyms, a 17m heated swimming pool plus a steam room and sauna. There is also a 24-hour business centre where you can print and copy documents as well as meeting and conference facilities for up to 700 guests.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotel is in Wembley in London’s northwestern suburbs and there are plenty of shops in the immediate neighbourhood including a good choice of places to eat and drink. It is right across the road from a major outlet shopping centre and it is just a short walk to the shops on Wembley’s high street. However, the main drawcard is the easy access to Wembley Arena and Wembley Stadium, which are both less than a 10-minute walk away.

Wembley is well connected by public transport with several tube and train stations nearby. Wembley Stadium railway station is the most convenient station to the hotel. This station is only a five-minute walk from the hotel and it has two trains per hour to London Marylebone, which is only a 12-minute journey from here.

For more frequent trains, you could walk a little farther to Wembley Central or Wembley Park stations, which are both around a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Both stations have around 10 trains per hour into Central London, compared with just two per hour from Wembley Stadium station.

Car parking is available but it costs £15 for 24 hours.
