The Hilton London Wembley hotel offers a high standard of accommodation in Wembley in London’s northwestern suburbs. It is the closest hotel to Wembley Arena and Wembley Stadium and it is expensive to stay here when there is a big event at Wembley Stadium but it can be good value when there are no big events scheduled at Wembley.
The Hilton is a modern upscale hotel with 361 spacious rooms. All rooms have comfortable beds, a work desk, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms.
Executive rooms are on the top floor and have access to the hotel’s executive lounge where you can get complimentary breakfast plus drinks and snacks in the evening.
The hotel has a much nicer design than many other hotels in the Hilton chain. Built only in 2012, it is a relatively new hotel with a stylish contemporary design rather than the fake heritage kitsch favoured by some other American hotel chains.
There are several restaurants and bars in the hotel. Icons Bar, Grill and Terrace has a casual menu with pizza, pasta, burgers and sandwiches and the Association Restaurant is a more upmarket dining option, although even here you can find some affordable options on the menu such as pizza. The rooftop Sky Bar 9 is a stylish spot for cocktails or a glass or two of wine.
Leisure facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre, a swimming pool and a sauna and steam room.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in public areas but there is an additional charge if you want to have Wi-Fi in your room.
The hotel is in Wembley in London’s northwestern suburbs and there are plenty of shops in the immediate neighbourhood including a good choice of places to eat and drink. It is right next to a major outlet shopping centre and it is just a short walk to the shops on Wembley’s high street. However, the main drawcard is the easy access to Wembley Arena and Wembley Stadium, which are both less than a two-minute walk away.
Wembley is well connected by public transport with several tube and train stations nearby. Wembley Stadium railway station is the most convenient station to the hotel. This station is only a five-minute walk from the hotel and it has two trains per hour to London Marylebone, which is only a 12-minute journey from here.
For more frequent trains, you could walk a little farther to Wembley Park station (a 10-minute walk), which has around 10 trains per hour into Central London, compared with just two per hour from Wembley Stadium station.
Car parking is available nearby but it costs £15 for 24 hours.
