ibis London Wembley

The ibis London Wembley hotel is a good value hotel that is popular with people attending events at nearby Wembley Arena and Wembley Stadium. Although this hotel can get expensive when there is a big event at Wembley, it is a great value place to stay at other times.

It is a large multi-storey hotel in a modern building with 210 guest rooms. All rooms have comfortable beds, a work desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms.

As it is a budget hotel, rooms are smaller and the decor in the rooms is more basic than the nearby Hilton and Holiday Inn hotels but everything here is clean and well maintained and it represents great value for money.

Like many newer ibis hotels, there is a vibrant ground floor area where you will find the reception area as well as the hotel’s bar and restaurant. The hotel restaurant, Fogg’s, has an international menu and it is open throughout the day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This area, particularly the adjoining bar, can get very busy on game days.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The ibis Wembley hotel is very close to Wembley Stadium in London’s northwestern suburbs and there are good transport connections into Central London. The surrounding Wembley Park neighbourhood is a modern development with lots of relatively new multi-storey buildings and many more still under construction. There are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby and a large outlet shopping centre just a short walk from here. The main draw, however, is easy access to Wembley Arena and Wembley Stadium, which are both only a five-minute walk from the hotel.

Wembley also has excellent transport connections that make it easy to stay here and commute into central London. Wembley Stadium railway station is the most convenient station to the hotel. This station is only a two-minute walk from the hotel and it has two trains per hour to London Marylebone, which is only a 12-minute journey from here.

For more frequent trains, you could walk a little farther to Wembley Central or Wembley Park stations, which are both around a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Both stations have around 10 trains per hour into central London, compared with just two per hour from Wembley Stadium station.
