The hotel’s 196 rooms all have comfortable Sweet Beds, a work desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities (including an Illy coffee machine) and en suite bathrooms. However, the 16m² (172 sq ft) rooms are relatively compact.

Like other ibis hotels, this hotel is generally more design-focused than many hotels in the same price range.

The in-house cafe bar/restaurant, Chill #08, has a menu with casual bar snacks including pizza and sharing plates and it also has a much better atmosphere than you would expect from a restaurant inside a budget hotel.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The immediate neighbourhood surrounding the hotel is an area noted for modern mid- and high-rise residential developments, although the local shopping strip along Barking Road (just a three-minute walk from the hotel) offers a more authentic local atmosphere with a good selection of reasonably-priced places to eat and drink.

The main drawcard is the proximity to Canning Town station, which directly across the road from the hotel. Canning Town is on the boundary of zones two and three and it has excellent transport connections with DLR services to Canary Wharf, Greenwich and London City Airport and tube services on the Jubilee line into Central London. From here it takes 16 minutes to get to Westminster with trains running every three minutes and it is only six minutes by DLR to London City Airport with trains every four minutes.
