Kendal railway station

Kendal is on the Windermere branch line and Northern runs hourly trains to Oxenholme with the occasional service continuing to Manchester Airport. Change at Oxenholme for trains to other destinations including Birmingham, Carlisle, Crewe, Glasgow and London Euston.

Kendal is an unstaffed station without any ticket machines. Passengers need to either buy their tickets in advance online or through an app or from the conductor on board the train.
