The Kenilworth Riverside Hotel (formerly the Ramada by Wyndham Warwick Kenilworth) has a nice location backing onto the River Avon in the countryside just outside Kenilworth; however, there are better hotels for the price nearby.
The hotel has 68 guest rooms, which all have comfortable beds, a work desk, a television, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms.
Although it offers a reasonably high standard of accommodation, the decor inside the hotel feels a little dated.
The hotel’s restaurant, Kavi International, has a varied international menu, although it is nothing special.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.
The hotel is in the countryside between Kenilworth and Leamington Spa and the hotel backs onto the River Avon. Although it is a pleasant enough location, there is not much of interest in the immediate vicinity. You can walk into Kenilworth’s town centre in around half an hour.
Several bus routes stop outside the hotel including the X17, which stops here en route between Kenilworth and Leamington Spa. The bus takes six minutes to get into the Kenilworth town centre and it takes nine minutes to go to Leamington Spa with buses running every 20 minutes.
You can drive to the centre of Kenilworth in just 3–4 minutes, Leamington Spa is only a five-minute drive and it takes less than 10 minutes to drive to Warwick. Free car parking and its easy access to the A46 makes this an ideal hotel if you’re driving.
