Leonardo Hotel Brighton

The 234 hotel rooms all feature comfortable beds, flatscreen televisions, a work desk, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite bathrooms. Rooms are air-conditioned and there are some larger family rooms available, which are a good option if you’re travelling with children. The hotel also has some wheelchair-accessible rooms.

It is a modern hotel that is clean and well-maintained (the rooms were renovated in 2016 and the public areas renovated in 2017).

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotel’s Oddsocks Bar & Kitchen consists of a restaurant as well as a bar with casual dining options.

The hotel is well set up for business travellers who are attracted by the transport connections and easy access to the commercial area near the railway station. Business facilities at the hotel include nine meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 110 people.

The location is handy for transport connections with Brighton railway station only a one-minute walk away (to the rear entrance, the station’s main entrance is a seven-minute walk).

The immediate neighbourhood, known as the New England Quarter, has office buildings and modern blocks of flats and it is around a five-minute walk to London Road where there is a good choice of places to eat and drink. In many ways, it is refreshing staying away from the tourist centre of Brighton, which at times can feel a little tacky, and staying here lets you experience Brighton as a real city rather than a tourist resort.

From the hotel, it is less than a 10-minute walk to North Laine but it takes a good 15–20 minutes to walk to the city centre where you can find attractions such as The Lanes, Brighton Dome, the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery and the Royal Pavilion and it is almost a 25-minute walk to get to the British Airways i360 or Brighton Palace Pier.

It is also possible to take a bus to the centre of Brighton but it doesn’t save much time as you still have to walk at least five minutes to get to a bus stop. However, many people walk to the city centre and the beach and take the bus home to avoid the uphill walk.
