Madame Tussauds Blackpool

From £14 To £21.50

Madame Tussauds Blackpool is part of the internationally recognised chain of wax museums, offering visitors the chance to get up close to lifelike wax figures of famous personalities. Opened in 2011, this branch has quickly become one of Blackpool’s most popular attractions, drawing visitors from all over to see the wax representations of stars from television, music, sports and history.

Unlike the more international focus of the original Madame Tussauds in London, the Blackpool Madame Tussauds wax museum celebrates British popular culture, with its displays of figures from iconic British television shows and music. It also taps into the town’s own rich entertainment history, reflecting Blackpool’s long-standing connection with performance and show business.

What to see at Madame Tussauds Blackpool

Visitors to Madame Tussauds Blackpool can expect a wide array of wax figures, each meticulously crafted to resemble real-life celebrities and public figures. The museum is divided into themed zones, each focusing on a different aspect of popular culture.

One of the most popular zones is dedicated to British television personalities. Here, visitors can step onto the set of shows like Coronation Street and meet wax figures of characters and actors who have become household names. The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! experience also allows visitors to immerse themselves in the world of reality television.

Music lovers can head to the music zone, where they will encounter wax figures of famous musicians from past and present. Expect to see artists like Freddie Mercury, The Beatles, and Ed Sheeran represented in this section. Sports enthusiasts can visit the sports zone, where wax figures of famous athletes such as Mo Farah and Lewis Hamilton are on display.

For those interested in film and comic book characters, the Marvel Super Heroes zone is a highlight. This immersive area features wax figures of popular superheroes, including Spider-Man, Iron Man and Captain Marvel. There are interactive elements that allow visitors to engage with the displays, adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience.

Madame Tussauds Blackpool also celebrates figures from British history, politics, and the royal family. Visitors can pose alongside wax figures of Queen Elizabeth II and other notable figures from Britain’s past and present.
