Marriott Executive Apartments London, Canary Wharf

The Marriott Executive Apartments London, Canary Wharf is a popular option with business travellers who need to stay in Canary Wharf but prefer more space than a traditional hotel. It isn’t cheap but it does offer a very high standard of accommodation.

It is a premium accommodation option with only 47 apartments, which include 45m² (484 sq ft) studios, 56m² (603 sq ft) one-bedroom apartments and 91m² (979 sq ft) two-bedroom apartments.

All apartments are air-conditioned and include comfortable king-size beds, a work desk, a flatscreen television, a fully equipped kitchen (with a fridge, oven, cooking hobs, a microwave, dishwasher and tea and coffee making facilities), ironing facilities (including a trouser press) and an en suite bathroom with bathrobes. One- and two-bedroom apartments also include a sofa but the studio apartments have an oversized chair instead.

Although it provides a very high standard of accommodation, the interior decor is not to everyone’s taste and some people find it looks a little dated.

The hotel is on the northern side of North Dock, just a three-minute walk from the heart of Canary Wharf. It is right next door to the Museum of London Docklands and there is an excellent choice of places nearby on the waterfront where you can eat and drink.

It is right next to West India Quay DLR station and Canary Wharf tube station is less than a 10-minute walk away. From West India Quay, it takes around nine minutes to get to Bank with trains running every four minutes and from Canary Wharf station, the Jubilee line will take you to Westminster in 11 minutes and Bond Street in 15 minutes with trains running every 2–3 minutes.
