Newquay railway station is the terminus of the Atlantic Coast Line, a branch line that connects with the Cornish Main Line at Par.
Most trains that call here are local services to Par, where you can change for trains to Penzance, Plymouth and elsewhere, although the station is served by long-distance trains on summer weekends when it is possible to catch direct trains to Birmingham New Street or London Paddington.
Services from Newquay are fairly infrequent with trains running only once every few hours.
Because of the seasonal nature of Newquay, the ticket office at the station is only staffed between late May and late September. There are no ticket machines at the station and outside these times you need to either buy your tickets onboard the train or use an app (such as the Trainline app) that issues mobile tickets.
